Meet Kaley - Piano Teacher

Kaley is an artist, touring keyboardist, and teacher who has been playing piano for 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Music from New York University with a major in jazz piano. Kaley has toured internationally as pianist and band member for recording artists SZA, Maggie Rogers, and Dhruv, and has performed on The Grammy's, SNL, The Tonight Show, The BET Awards, and at festivals such as Bumbershoot and Coachella. Kaley loves sharing her knowledge of the piano, music theory, and songwriting, and has a penchant for teaching complex musical concepts to students through their favorite songs. She believes in helping her students to find pleasure in playing music no matter their skill level, and to grow from a place of playfulness and joy, rather than practicing to be a good musician "someday." Kaley hopes to help her students find pride in their playing and confidence in themselves, and to instill a life-long love of music, regardless of whether that leads to music school, a career, or beautiful memories around the piano with friends and family.
