Meet Callie - Piano & Violin Teacher

Callie Madson grew up in Alpine, Utah, and started taking piano lessons when she was in kindergarten. Shortly thereafter, she took up the violin, and has been classically trained in both instruments. Callie also has years of experience in composing and arranging pieces for choir and orchestra. Currently, she is studying commercial music at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. She hopes to continue her studies with an emphasis in film composition.

Callie has performed both the piano and violin in various locations across Utah, including Abravanel Hall, Libby Gardner Hall, and Thanksgiving Point Gardens. She played as concert master in the 2020 Utah All-State Orchestra and has performed violin and piano concertos with several different orchestras.

In her high school years, Callie started an independent music studio, teaching piano and violin lessons to students of various ages. She loves helping students improve and expand their musical passion and knowledge. It is her belief that with diligent effort, each student has the potential to become remarkable.

Besides music, Callie loves reading, dancing, and hiking.
