Teaching Approach:
Music plays many roles in our society, and I believe it enriches our lives in many different, unique ways. As a music educator, my goal is to help facilitate the appreciation for music while providing students the fundamental knowledge and techniques to further that experience. Because everyone experiences music differently, I value the individual capacities, interests, and learning styles of my students. My job is simply to help you define your personal musical goals and achieve them.
I have found that music class not only gives an opportunity for students to grow emotionally and physically, it also has emphasis on the important qualities such as self- discipline, responsibility, and confidence, all of which are skills that can be transferred to other disciplines outside of music. The process of learning music can be extremely fulfilling and rewarding, and I’ll do everything I can to help you enjoy it every step of the way.
