Meet Daniel - Piano and Composition Teacher

Daniel L.K. Caldwell is a Seattle-based composer for commercial and film. He has scored hundreds of commercial and brand videos, as well as multiple short films, web series, and feature films. Notable film work include the 2018 sci-fi, "Prospect", starring Pedro Pascal and the 2020 kung-fu comedy, "The Paper Tigers". He most recently scored a horror film called "Room 203".

Daniel is also a classically trained pianist, starting in 1st grade and continuing through university. As a high schooler, he represented Whatcom County in state adjudications for 3 years. While piano lessons are readily available, Daniel's passion lies primarily in composition. The idea of helping aspiring composers focus their style and vision, while teaching fundamental compositional techniques, is a very exciting prospect. Not only do these lessons offer classical composition techniques, but Daniel's 12 years of experience in the commercial and film world, lend a practicality and level of real world experience that is hard to come by even at a university level.
