Meet Glory - Piano & Voice Teacher

Glory is a singer-songwriter, classically trained vocalist, and music educator. She showed a love of music at a young age and has had a passion and love for singing since the age of 5. She has studied and performed voice for over 15 years. She just recently finished her Bachelor’s in Vocal performance and is finishing her last year to get her degree in Music Education with an emphasis in General Music and Choral.

At Seattle Pacific University, she studied voice with Beth Ann Bonnecroy and Ryan Bede and performed regularly with their Chamber Singers and Concert Choir. Glory is active locally in The Salvation Army’s Seattle Temple Songsters as well as the Western Territorial Staff Songsters and Territorial Youth Chorus. She has performed in Benaroya Hall, Hollywood Bowl, Disneyland, and Carnegie Hall. In 2020 she received third place in the Semi-finals of the Classical Singers Vocal Competition in the University Classical division. In 2021 she received second place in the University Musical Theatre division and the University Classical division in the Semi-finals of the Classical Singers Competition. She continues to compete in vocal competitions.

Glory loves music theatre and has studied voice with Broadway artist and singer-songwriter Desi Oakley (Waitress, Chicago, Wicked). She has also taken masterclasses with Laura Osnes (Cinderella, Bonnie & Clyde, Anything Goes), Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, Bonnie & Clyde), Kelli O'Hara (The Light in the Piazza, Kiss Me Kate), and more. She had the opportunity to be in several roles including, Ida in Honk, Gertrude in Seussical, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and more.

Glory loves helping students to grow and achieve their goals to be the best they can be. Whatever the student’s interest, Glory wants to help students discover what kind of musician they want to be. Her favorite thing about being a music teacher is seeing her students get excited about what they are working on. Glory will focus on making every lesson interesting, engaging, and fun, but will also do her best to challenge her students.
